Purse seine nets for tuna : Oceanic tuna fishing
Production :
The netting is laced on ultra-modern looms and is then stabilised in vapour. This treatment thoroughly tightens the knots and gives the meshes a great stability which limits shrinkage in water. This presents the invaluable advantage of allowing replacement panels to perfectly fit in the net.
The netting is then tar-treated to prevent the knots from slipping. This helps avoid mesh distortion and it improves the watertightness of the twine and its resistance to abrasion.
Top quality raw materials: a guarantee of durability for our nets.
We use exclusively High Tenacity spun dyed polyamide PA 6. Spun dyed twine does not fade with time and is more resistant to ageing and UV rays.
Top quality products to keep maintenance costs to a minimum during the first 3 or 4 years :
-
Vapour stabilised high tenacity rope to reduce distortions.
-
Watertight EVA floats, exceptionally resistant to wear and tear
- HR chain, highly resistant to corrosion.
We assemble the panels of netting mesh by mesh to lessen tensions in the net and thus reduce the risk of tearing during fishing.
